Australia Considers Jailing All COVID19 ‘Conspiracy Theorists’

Weekend demonstrations have flared up in Australia over the last month, as Aussies have vented their frustrations and attempted to take back control of their communities after a surge in virus cases prompted the government to re-implement some of the world’s most draconian social-distancing measures.

And if there is one thing that terrifies increasingly tyrannical governments, it’s a loss of control of the narrative, which is why the Australian government is getting a jump start on curbing any so-called “conspiracy theorists” daring to spread information that questions the fear-mongering being used to keep Aussie citizens under lock and key.

A new bill is expected to be debated by the Victorian government in the State Parliament this week. It gives local authorities the power to detain “conspiracy theorists” and people who refuse to self-isolate, reported Caldron Pool.

If passed, the COVID-19 Omnibus (Emergency Measures) allows the government to detain anyone labeled as a “high risk” or likely to spread COVID-19 negligently.

A state government spokesman told The Age that the rule could be applied to “conspiracy theorists who refuse to self-isolate or severely drug-affected or mentally impaired people who do not have the capacity to quarantine.” Those arrested under the new rule will be housed in quarantine facilities.

Attorney-General Jill Hennessy said the new bill would “allow us to continue responding to the challenges the pandemic presents, so we can keep protecting Victorians and delivering the services they rely on.”

So far, many of the anti-lockdown demonstrations have been held on the weekends. At least 200 people were fined and 74 arrested at a protest in Melbourne on Sunday. If the bill is passed, some protesters would be rounded up and arrested, and could spend time in a quarantine facility.

Clearly, the government’s intent to extend powers and detain conspiracy theorists and those who pose a risk of spreading the virus should be alarming to readers.

In a glimpse of what is ahead, authorities have already arrested a Melbourne woman for allegedly writing pro-anti lockdown posts on social media.

Notably, after widespread social media account deletions, TheConversation notes that QAnon has attracted a lot of followers in Australia, so what comes next? ‘Re-education centers’ for QAnons?

Now this really IS 1984 in all its horror. What is happening to the world when they need to control our thoughts and our actions? We may as well cancel the human race and go straight to machines, (except they’ll never be able to create a machine clever enough to match the dumbest human.

The west is becoming worse than Stalinist Russia. The west does not need to create gulags, our homes are being turned into our own private gulags.

I noticed elsewhere that Scotland is telling people not to visit others or allow others into their homes, so I guess the NWO has found “resonance” north of the equator as well as the crash dummies south of the equator. I wonder if it is even possible for a culture to “wake up” if it can sit back and watch what is happening in Victoria and say “it is only them, we sit in our homes and do what ‘is best for everyone’ and accept our position as sheep.” Or at least act that way. I have no idea how anyone can look at the facts surrounding this “virus” or whatever we are experiencing, and not question policies that are restrictive of personal liberty and the right to act and be a member of a reasonably free human society.

Jefferson was right when he said democracy was the 2nd worst form of government, monarchy being the worst It gives half the people the power to enslave the other half. In the case of a “modern democracy,” that is half of those actively participating in the process, not half the population, thus if only 50% of the those that can vote do, slightly over 25% of the people can and do enslave the remainder to their policies.

Most in Scotland are carrying on as normal and visiting friends. in fact, I didn’t even know this was being said, so I will carry on visiting friends as per normal.

I am in Scotland too. The simple fact is that the Holyrood government of feminist lunatics can give birth to as many of these diktats as they like, but enforcing them is another matter. Sadly however, Scottish people are by and large very bovine and swallow the official narrative without bothering to check it with available statistics. For example, everyone is pulling their hair out over ‘cases’, without understanding that ‘cases’ are irrelevant. Most of those cases are asymptomatic and C19 deaths are almost totally non-existent up here. The real diseases are the policies and the human bacterium that produce them.

It will be a very disturbing development if Australia does vote this into law.

Really? It’s NOT “Australia”, it’s VICTORIA!
Saying it’s “Australia” is as ignorant as the cretins who think Londonistan is the same as Great Britain.
Notwithstanding the stupid confusion, Dan Jong UNdrews IS arguably even more malevolent than Matt Hand-in-the-till Cock of GB.

Australians are watching the US presidential elections VERY closely. If Trump fails to get reelected, Australia will continue to slide towards Marxism. As Newt Gingrich warned “free enterprise is in a fight to the death with progressives”.
Some positive thoughts: The inner city wets are finally waking up to reality, and the BEST form of government is similar to the one the Swiss have used successfully for hundreds of years.

SBG is right. It’s not Australia… but it certainly is Victoria led by its pro CCP ‘Big Ears’ marxist premier, “Chairman Dan Andrews” who has gone totally authoritarian-rogue, and turned Victoria into a police state.

Victoria, of course, is the most institutionally corrupt state in Australia … the police, the lawyers, the judges, etc. Heck, between them, they even managed to arrest, charge, try and convict Australian Cardinal George Pell on false charges. Thankfully, the High Court of Australia exposed the lot of them and freed Cardinal Pell from jail as a person who was innocent all along. Sadly, the Vatican lost its key man in Cardinal Pell who was cleaning out the financial corruption in the Vatican.

Nobody ever thought they’d ever see such an abuse of power in Australia. So if it could happen in Australia, it could easily happen in other so called democracies around the world.

The ignorance is astonishing. Victoria is one State in Australia, out of six. What they are talking about in Victoria DOES NOT APPLY ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE COUNTRY.

For heaven’s sake, find out what you are talking about before bursting into print.
