As She Speaks, Replace the Word Car with Vaccine. Interesting How We Think About Things.
If I told you my child was injured in a car accident, you would be so compassionated and worried. If I told you it was because the brakes had failed, you would be so shocked and appalled.
If I told you that I found out that the manufacturers decided not to bother testing the brakes, you would be infuriated and tell me to sue them.
If I told you I found sixty studies that showed that they would failed but they opted to cover it up instead, your head would be spinning.

Cars are creations of man and are easily understood and repaired or serviced if not working properly. You don’t always need a mechanic to fix your car and keep it running.
On the other hand, when your health goes on the fritz, most people don’t have a clue as to how to “service” their own bodies and therefore run to the doctor for repairs.
They trust the doctors with something they cannot usually understand. However, the doctor really knows little and relies on drugs that even he doesn’t know how they work or what they do. Because of the fear of ill health or death, the blind rely on the blind to keep them ticking.

I have long stated, after realizing many years ago that doctor’s and hospital’s mistakes kill 150,000 people a year in N America, plus another 250,000 dead from adverse reactions to prescription drugs, that the way to stay healthy and lead a long life is to stay away from doctors and hospitals!
Furthermore, I have long held the belief that “doctors” are nothing more than glorified mechanics and plumbers, working on a complex system that they really do not understand well. Just as there are very good vehicle mechanics, there are a lot of bad ones too… And one should consider the same analogy with regard to the deified “doctor” label.
