America may be close to hitting a vaccine wall
There are growing signs that parts of the country may be close to meeting demand for the coronavirus vaccine — well before the U.S. has reached herd immunity.
Why it matters: For the last few months, the primary focus of the U.S. has been getting shots to everyone who wants them, as quickly as possible. Soon, that focus will abruptly shift to convincing holdouts to get vaccinated.
State of play: Red states in the South are administering the lowest portion of the vaccine doses that they receive from the federal government — a sign of low demand, slow public health systems, or both.
- The most vaccine-reluctant Americans are white Republicans, polling has found.
By the numbers: On average, states have administered 76% of the doses they’ve received from the federal government. New Hampshire has administered the largest share of all states, at 89.8%, while Alabama has administered the smallest — only 61.4% of its doses.
Driving the news: An analysis released by Surgo Ventures yesterday concluded that “the supply-demand shift for the vaccine will happen earlier than expected — as early as the end of April — and before the nation reaches the 70-90% threshold for achieving herd immunity.”
- It released a survey finding that 59% of U.S. adults say they’re either already vaccinated, or plan to be as soon as the shot is made available to them. At the current U.S. vaccination rate, all of those vaccine-enthusiastic adults could be inoculated by the end of April.
- Vaccination rates will then slow, and Surgo’s projections show that only around 52% of Americans will be vaccinated by July. When combined with people who have already been infected, the immunity rate overall may be around 65% by then — still not high enough for herd immunity.
What they’re saying: “This analysis shows that despite the general vaccine enthusiasm we are seeing now in the United States, things are going to get really difficult really soon,” said Sema Sgaier, Surgo’s CEO.
- “Without significant investment in addressing people’s barriers and making vaccines available to those below 18, reaching herd immunity will be a real challenge.”
A separate survey of rural Americans, released by KFF this morning, found that while they’re more likely to have already been vaccinated than urban and suburban Americans, there are fewer remaining rural residents who are eager to get their shots.
- 39% have already gotten at least one dose of the vaccine, 16% say they’ll get it as soon as possible, and 15% said they want to “wait and see.”
- Another 9% said they’ll only get vaccinated if required, and 21% said they definitely won’t. In suburban areas, a combined 21% said they were vaccine resistant, and only a combined 16% of urban residents said the same.
- Among rural residents who said they definitely won’t get vaccinated, almost three-quarters were Republicans or Republican-leaning, and 41% were white Evangelical Christians.
The bottom line: Rural, Republican-heavy states are likely blowing through their vaccine-eager populations.

But the “vaccines” do not create herd immunity. They don’t stop infections or transmission.

Can be argued that the ‘vaccines’ are the infection.

Fewer people are accepting it so they are looking to convince people in any way possible.

““the supply-demand shift for the vaccine will happen earlier than expected — as early as the end of April — and before the nation reaches the 70-90% threshold for achieving herd immunity.””
Again, they are ignoring virological science. The 70–90% for herd immunity is only true if the population is homogeneous, which the USA is NOT. With our heterogeneous population (call it diversity), herd immunity is achieved at 18–25% in the USA. In other words, we reached herd immunity naturally a year ago in April, without this fake vaccines.
They are using the wrong numbers because (1) it’s a money bonanza to vaccinate as many as possible and (2) as the “vaccines” are experimental medical devices that would normally not ever be considered for release on the public.

A vaccine that is not a vaccine, doesn’t keep you from getting or transmitting the virus will give us herd immunity? The world has lost all common sense ,the least common of all the senses.

To establish immunity against virus or lack of it, one would require an indicator or test. To develop a test, one would need a specimen or sample of reference (isolated) virus, which is not available. Therefore, one cannot have the required valid indicator or test. This is based on the law of science, not an opinion.
Hence, making claims of immunity at the individual or community level by natural or vaccination means would be false, just like declaring the viral pandemic itself.

Whining about herd immunity is just more BS attempting to give this hoax validity. No isolated virus, as Saeed says, says anything based on it is high quality bullshine. The experimental jabs are anything BUT vaccines, there is no proof that there is any reality to this whole episode beyond the MSM screaming “believe it, believe it, believe lt!”
The deaths attributed to it come at the expense of statistics for other categories – the 2019-2020 flu season started out with a bang and then vanished after the fake virus appeared. Everyone is pointing fingers – where did this virus come from? – and the answer is out of someone’s imagination.
Can they have a REAL man-made virus sitting in the wings? Yes, and it will be released when they get enough people to take the F#%KING jab. That virus will be the one that depopulates the world because THIS hoax and its experimental jabs have set the wheels in motion. Take the shot at your own risk. Know someone that did? Pray for them and be prepared to attend their funeral in the not too distant future.
I have said in the past that I can’t hold the nurses and doctors responsible for the deaths of those willing to jeopardize their lives, but after all the information that is available about what probably will happen that is out there, I can no longer say that they can be forgiven. they should have become aware by now.
I can no longer forgive them any more than I would forgive an auto worker that knew what he was doing was going to cause someone’s death in an accident because of the quality of the product he was installing, and just did it anyway. Or a clerk knowing they were selling contaminated products, just doing it anyway.
In the beginning, before they should have become fully aware is one thing, there is no excuse anymore to stick their heads in the sand – or some other place that is just as dark – and go ahead and do damage to fools just because they are willing to accept the jab. The damage they do now, in my book, is premeditated, and they are accomplices to it.

There is a simpler way:
– Let those who want the vaccine get it. They should be safe (by their own definition, whatever that is), regardless of whether a portion of population doesn’t want it
– Let those who do not want the vaccine refuse it. They may or may not be at risk. No one can prove either way – but they will not put the vaccinated group at risk.
– Wait 6 months. Either the non-vaccinated continue dying while the others do not; reluctant citizens may gradually see the truth and decide to change their mind. Or nothing happens and the status quo can continue, albeit with reinforced assumptions about the utility of the vaccines.
There is a 3rd option, that the vaccinated population starts to exhibit new problems (and only that population). Let’s not go down that route without facts first.

Surveys show that most White Republicans will not take the jabs? I’m one of those and I think it’s great that most Liberals are taking the jabs that means with their populations dying off the USA still has a chance of surviving.
