Allow children to learn about the Arctic without terrifying them
This is a reminder that I have written three Arctic animal picture books, a polar bear ecology reference book, an Arctic ecology teaching guide (free) & a polar bear attack thriller suitable for teens, all of which let kids be kids.
In contrast to a book reviewer at the New York Times (30 October 2020), see image below:
Two new picture books and a novel for young readers place children at the center of climate calamity.
Fittingly, they are stories of homes under threat; home, after all, is the thing climate change stalks, be it a house, a community or a livable planet.
Each book offers its own lessons on how to cope with life under the monster we’ve created.
The novel even shows how kids can help slay it.
No child needs this.
Children need to be allowed to learn without being used as pawns in an adult political battle.
Activist authors suggesting that climate change is a predator waiting to ‘stalk’ children’s homes and communities through floods and wildfires is reprehensible, not only because it isn’t true.
Kids don’t need a ‘mini-primer on climate change’.
Adults should fight their own battles and leave the kids alone.

The press and the global warming crowd deliberately suppress the fact that ANTARCTICA has had record cold, snow and ice accumulation for decades. Even the last few years, ANTARCTICA cold, snow and ice have hit record numbers.
The number of catastrophic hurricanes and tornadoes has dwindled the last couple of decades.
The oceans have not risen appreciably other than the normal waxing and waning of ice melt and evaporation cycles. If you try to google it, the first few pages will be pro global warming but when you drill down to the more reputable “scientific” sites it says no global warming. Also droughts, cold snaps, and weather extremes are the rule all throughout recorded history. There are records clear back to the 1400’s verifying this fact. One has to dig for this data because the political and globalists agenda has big-tech, the leftist media, et al working at sequestering real facts as the “Brown Shirts” did for Hitler. Most folks don’t even go past the first page and these hyena Globalists at google know this.
Lastly, look up the sun-spot cycle which is an eleven year cycle. The weather patterns on earth are affected profoundly by this cycle.
They try to explain it away with all kinds of mental gymnastics but it doesn’t pass the smell test. Funny one never hears of this, but then again suppression of reality by ideologues is commonplace.
The so-called doomed Great Barrier Reef is thriving and growing.

Hi Susan and PSI Readers,
I have encouraged PSI readers to read what Galileo actually wrote in his famous book that it seems few have ever read its English language translation by Crew and de Salvio (1914). But I have never encouraged anyone to read (https://follow.mosaic-expedition.org) which is a day by day brief stories about two GRAND attempts to float a ship, frozen in the Arctic’s winter ice from a lower latitude to the North Pole. (https://follow.mosaic-expedition.org)
So, few are aware of the leads (spontaneous cracks) in thick (maybe even five better, 15ft thick) layers of ice which you know well. And you know well that these spontaneous cracks are the reason that polar bears roam about the Arctic ice during the winter.
But I ask: Have you ever tried to explain why these cracks spontaneously form? I ask this because because as I read the brief daily mosaic accounts I find no evidence that any of those involved have ever considered this question.
Which has a very simple and understand able answer. Which I will permit you and readers of this to ponder.
Have a good day, Jerry
