All Transition, No Energy
Dr. John Robson comments on key items from the latest Climate Discussion Nexus weekly “Wednesday Wakeup” newsletter (https://climatediscussionnexus.com/ne…,
From the supposed “energy transition” that’s not happening to more red weather maps, overconfident government climate claims, a pushback against fossil fuel divestment by New York City public unions, alarmists’ twisting explanations of how the theory explains warming stopping then starting again, firms hailing the return of summer despite claiming to fear ‘climate change’, more of Clintel’s critique of the IPCC’s AR6, this time the new hockey stick, the Thwaites Glacier not plunging into the ocean again, and other Antarctic glaciers just doing nothing no matter how often people shout “Melt, drat you.”

Serious questions for the ‘CO2 Greenhouse Gas Warming Theory’ people:
1) If CO2 gas can warm the surface of the Earth as an insulator on steroids, then why don’t double-pane windows full of CO2 gas keep our homes warm?
2) Please, inform our studio audience in which laboratories was it demonstrated CO2 gas could act as an ‘insulator’, not to mention ‘heat magnifier’?
Obviously, in order for any gas or substance, such as Unobtanium, to generate ‘heat’ on its own would violate every Law of Thermodynamics.
Although, I have observed, as the crew of the Pirate Jack Sparrow once said, “The Pirate Code isn’t really a strict ‘Rule’, but more of ‘Guidelines’…”
‘Environmental Scientists’ don’t really follow Laws of Thermodynamics, as they are merely suggestions, or ‘Guidelines’…

Answer to question #1: This was tried by some clever entrepreneurs, and they failed. They discovered a vacuum (like outer space) was far better at not transferring heat, i.e. being an insulator.
Answer to question #2: There is no laboratory, university, nor government agency which has ever offered ANY evidence of CO2 being an ‘insulator’, let alone heat energy ‘magnifier’.
If they had, don’t you folks with common sense think this would have been on the front page of every newspaper and magazine in the world?
Something to think about…
