Airline Mayday Radio Calls Up 386 percent in 2023
Can you guess what is causing steep rise of in-flight medical emergencies since 2021?
The following is a very concerning chart.
SQUAWK 7700 is the airline radio code that indicates a serious issue onboard the aircraft. It can be input by pilots or instructed by Air Traffic Control, and it alerts controllers and ground crew to prepare for the arrival of the aircraft.
I pulled the chart from a report detailing an inquiry conducted by veteran Virgin Australia Capt. Shane Murdock, who was fired from Virgin for refusing the COVID-19 shots.
Captain Murdock who also gave a fascinating interview with reporter Charles Kovess on TNT Radio.
The dramatic increase of SQUAWK 7700 codes since 2022 was apparently compiled by a bot set up by the X account @GCFlightAlerts.
It posts when a pilot squawks 7700 anywhere in the world.
Between 2018, and 2019, the mayday average was 29.1 per cent of all distress calls.
During 2022, mayday calls increased by 272 per cent.
In the first three months of 2023, the increase was 386 per cent.
The graph shows there was an instant, steep increase when the Covid ‘vaccines’ were mandated to pilots.
Obviously Captain Murdock’s research should be the subject of a massive, international inquiry conducted by official aviation regulators.
Large commercial airliners are always flown by a Captain and First Officer. If one of them has a cardiac issue in flight, the other pilot can (in theory) fly the plane.
Nevertheless, the stunning increase in mayday calls should be rigorously scrutinized.
Is this alarming trend juke a fluke or gross overstatement? How many of these Code 7700s are for medical emergencies on board, and how many are a result of mechanical issues?
Was the supply chain for aircraft spare parts and electronics disrupted during the pandemic, resulting in an increase in mechanical glitches?
Or is it the result of imposed ‘vaccinations’?
I strongly welcome reader feedback about this story. Is Captain Murdock the only airline industry veteran who is talking about this?

With all this evidence how is it that little or no legal proceedings are happening against Governments the world over?

It isn’t much of a guess. When we have our government health care people along with all others who promoted and forced the covid fraud hanging from gallows lining the streets, maybe we will consider that justice.

It is NOT “evidence”! Read it carefully people “The dramatic increase of SQUAWK 7700 codes since 2022 was apparently compiled by a bot set up by the X account”.
How do we know this “bot” is a reliable data gathering source? A flight may squawk 7700 for an hour or more before landing, and this transponder return signal may then be picked up by several different ATC centers, approach controllers, and airport tower installations. Does the “bot” get a new count each time the same plane’s signal is picked up by a different controller station??? Does it obtain the identifier for an instance of 7700 being transmitted, and eliminate all subsequent receptions of that code by different ATC entities after the first instance is recorded? (transponder signals include the code, the aircraft/airline identifier and flight number, it’s altitude, heading and speed)
Does it discriminate between air transport and general aviation emergency codes? There are 15-25 fatal crashes of General Aviation (GA) per MONTH in the USA, many of which do transmit 7700 on their transponders before the crash. And by the way the majority of those GA crashes are due to pilot error, not medical mishap. (yes virtually all GA aircraft everywhere must have a transponder, and can squawk 7700 if they get into trouble)
Does this “bot” account for changes in number of global flights, Transport (airlines), Corporate (private jets) and GA (General Aviation)? I mean if total global flights increased by 200%, then these 7700 code numbers are not anomalous now are they? Have a look at this actual statistic:
https://financesonline.com/number-of-flights-worldwide/
Airline flights dropped from 40.3 million in 2020 to 22.2 million flights in 2021. And rose to pre covid numbers in 22 and 23, likely exceeding 2020 as the numbers are on the rise.
I do not buy this alarmist nonsense about code 7700 increase from a twitter bot, without context and answering at least my questions above. I’m sure there are more numbers or questions to consider than mine off the top of my head being an actual pilot who studies aviation accidents. Several real time ATC monitoring websites exist, and report incidents and accidents and no such dramatic increase in emergency calls has been evident. (there are still too may in GA but commercial aviation is pretty damned safe these days)
The two big elephants in the room are one of reporting, and of what proportion of these supposed increased 7700 code instances are actual medical emergencies? And reporting only since 2022 by this twit bot – is it like tornado reports where actual number of tornadoes has not increased but reporting of them has? Heck a whole slew of reports on VASAviation are planes diverting because of disruptive passengers assaulting one another or flight crews!
https://www.youtube.com/@VASAviation/search?query=unruly%20passenger
There’s a hundred instances of unruly passengers in the past few years detailed in the above link. How many transmitted code 7700?
I am against the clot shot, mandates and it is not a vaccine, but rather an experimental gene therapy with disastrous consequences for those it is inflicted upon. But do not stoop to low levels of really shoddy data gathering to fight against mandates! (because your argument gets turned into your wearing tinfoil hat by showing your data is faulty or misleading)
