    Mmmm, made by Boeing you say. Why aren’t companies made responsible for removing their non-functioning junk from Earth orbits when it stops working – oh wait, just like the oil companies clean up their messes from drilling, and non-working oil wells.

    The only question is, who did it? Not the USA obviously, since no harm was inflicted directly on USA citizens. Probably not China either, due to lack of a motive. Russia! Plenty of incentive there. Identity politics may sow internal division and even win elections from time to time, but echo chambers and artificially inflated self esteems are useless on the world stage. Woke NATO probably thought it could intimidate Putin with rhetoric. I wonder whether DEI-certified cryptologists can break the cypher and decode the mysterious meaning of his response?
