Pope Francis Blames USA And The West For ‘Climate Change’ Again
Pope Francis has once again stuck his nose into something he knows nothing about, by dedicating his September monthly prayer intention to “the cry of the Earth” (whatever that is), and urged Christians to feel the Earth’s ‘pain’
He said:
“If we took the planet’s temperature, it will tell us that the Earth has a fever, and it is sick, just like anyone who’s sick. But are we listening to this pain?”
He went on:
“Do we hear the pain of the millions of victims of environmental catastrophes?
The ones suffering most from the consequences of these disasters are the poor, those who are forced to leave their homes because of floods, heat waves or drought.”
What sound should we be listening for to identify this ‘pain’? I’ve not heard anything that could be construed as the sound of a planet in pain.
Like many gullible or indoctrinated people, the Pope claims this is purely due to human activity, which completely ignores natural climate variability.
Some of the more extreme alarmists even claim natural variability doesn’t exist, and say the climate remained unchanged for thousands of years before the Industrial Revolution.
“Dealing with the environmental crisis caused by humans, such as climate change, pollution or the loss of biodiversity, begs responses that are not only ecological, but are also social, economic and political.”
As he has done a number of times before, Francis claimed the ‘battle’ against ‘climate change’ requires large changes of attitudes and ways of living, stating:
“We must commit ourselves to the fight against poverty and the protection of nature, changing our personal and community habits.”
This is rather an odd comment to make, as climate policies will have the exact opposite effect.
They will drive millions into poverty.
Earlier this year, he claimed ‘climate change’ has brought the planet to its “breaking point”, but provided no evidence to back it up.
He added that the modern world is “collapsing” because we have not adequately addressed the ‘climate crisis’.
This reminds me of Greta Thunberg when she said “Entire ecosystems are collapsing”, but she provided no evidence to back up that claim either.
I remember at the time thinking which ecosystems are collapsing? Where are they?
Francis also said it is beyond doubt that the impact of ‘climate change’ will increasingly affect more and more people, adding that we can already see its effects in “healthcare, sources of employment, access to resources, housing, forced migrations, etc.”
Again he provided no evidence to back up this claim.
The pope also blasted Americans last October as being heavily responsible for the ‘climate emergency’ because:
“If we consider that emissions per individual in the United States are about two times greater than those of individuals living in China and about seven times greater than the average of the poorest countries, we can state that a broad change in the irresponsible lifestyle connected with the Western model would have a significant long-term impact.”
Perhaps surprising to many was an admission shortly afterwards in The Pillar Catholic, an online Catholic news outlet, that said China’s emissions are 50 percent higher than those in the USA.
The pope also failed to mention that America’s air one of the cleanest of any nation, while China’s air quality is among the worst and most polluted.
He has stated that ‘climate change’ is “no longer a secondary or ideological question, but a drama that harms us all.”
Drama is right, and like tv soaps, is fictional.
One can only wonder one of three things:
1. The Pope actually believes this nonsense
2. He is in reciept of some form of incentive to say it, or
3. He is under instruction from an outside agency to push the death-by-climate narrative
You can imagine the indignant howls of protest if a scientist told the Pope how to run the Catholic Church or live his life, but it seems it is perfectly acceptable for a Pope to tell the world how to live to ‘save’ a planet that is not in danger.
He should keep his nose out of things that do not concern him, and in the words of Ash to Ripley in Alien: “You do your job and let me do mine yes?”

You know the pope is simply playing his part, right? “All the world’s a stage”. Simplistic as that quote is, there is something in there…
So, the pope has no authority to tell anybody how to do anything. His ‘job’, is to lead by example. The example is meant to be according to God’s wishes. Notice I didn’t use the word, rules.
Unfortunately, the job being done is completely inappropriate, and is an appointment by Human minds, therefore flawed in the extreme. Power, and self gratification is the outcome, not humility by example, as should be the case.
The same old same old.

If there’s a God, it’s the Universe itself and its rules cannot be broken. Most of them are embodied in Physics, so let’s start there, where there are no miracles like getting energy in the form of Hydrogen out of water, without supplying at last the equivalent amount of energy, if not ten times as much.

He needs to stop listening to the propagandists, and recognise that the temperature record is deliberately flawed, its use fraudulent, CO2 has little if any bearing on atmospheric temperature, and all the weather events in the world are simply weather.

It is the nature of scientific knowledge to be ever-changing as we continually make more discoveries. The Galileo affair taught us that the Church should focus on the Gospel and teach the unchanging Truths in religion, not science. A church leader should not take a position on “climate change” because the current political idea that humans cause “climate change” will likely be discounted in the future.
