An expert’s view of the tactics and aims of the vax debate censors

Dr Brian Martin holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics and is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Wollongong, as well being VP of Whistleblower’s Australia. He knows a thing or two about censorship!

Way back in 2009, both I and the Australian Vaccination Network as it was known at the time (avn.org.au) received the first of what would eventually be a long string of complaints to various government bodies.

The organisations of choice for most of these egregious and (in every single case) ridiculously stupid complaints were the Healthcare Complaints Commission and the Office of (un) Fair Trading.

As a mum who was very ignorant of how vicious and malicious these complainants could be as well as being unaware of the ultimate goal of the complaints – to censor any information about vaccination that was contrary to government policy – the experience was an eye-opener in the worst possible way!

Enter Brian Martin

The person who mentored me throughout this period and who, I can honestly say, saved my sanity and my life, was Dr Brian Martin. Due to his support of free speech and scientific debate on this subject, he himself became the target of the same people who had been complaining about me and the AVN.

He took all of this in his stride and used these attacks to analyse the motivations and strategies of those trying to silence dissent. In fact, in my mind, I would often picture him rubbing his hands together with glee whenever the attacks would start since they provided him with much data for future research!

In his role as Vice President of Whistleblowers’ Australia, he has helped many people safely release information and deal with the blowback if they’ve gone public.

He has written numerous articles and books about the attacks against the AVN and me, and his interest in the subject of censorship of the vaccination debate has persisted to this day.

His first piece is still on the AVN’s website. Called Debating Vaccination, it is a must-read for anyone wanting to know more about the aims and tactics of those who are trying to suppress information showing that vaccines are more dangerous, less effective and less necessary than we’ve been told.

Mis and Dis-Information

With the rise of blatant government attempts to further stifle communication on a range of issues that could be financially or socially dangerous for corporate interests via the attempts to pass Mis and Dis-information legislation (on the backburner for the present, but only an omnibus bill away from reality), Dr Martin has once again taken a look at why vaccination is such a big censorship target when so many other controversial issues are openly discusssed.

I highly recommend everyone reading and sharing this short piece. I attach a pdf copy below but you can also find it at Propaganda in Focus.

There are no “tactics” or any “debate”; they simply ban you, and for quoting publicly available patents no less.
In the past 3 days I have been banned off 2 sites, had a 3rd site remove a post for being “spam” (patents are spam now), permanently banned from 3 sub-reddit threads, and am under a 3 day ban from Reddit altogether.

That’s nothing more than illegally subverting constitutional rights.
It does, however, come with a sneaky benefit. I passed on my comments to a few people who rarely post online at all. Seeing how legitimate posts are getting banned is helping to show them what is really going on.

You sound like the sort of person I’d follow if you were on ‘X’. Is there a chance you’d put your controversial patent info on Substack? The oppression there seems a lot less. It also seems to be a way around the censors of f/b & X.
