In this video, we cover the electron microscope in relation to the study of antigen and antibody complexes.

Starting with a contemporary Viroliegy paper that covers some of the modern recognized sources of error with electron microscopes.

We then start to cover images from the 1960s forward and observe some difficulties with isolation, characterization, using the same questionable animal injection practices that we critiqued in many previous lectures. We observe staining from iron and gold being heavily utilized in these processes.
