BBC weatherman Bill Giles, what a hypocrite!

I wouldn’t trust Bill Giles with the weather, let alone the climate!

So, on the back of this pithy article on the ‘climate crisis’, I went looking for the MailOnline article because I was contacted by an expert who wants to do a series of truth videos with me (more on that another time) and I wanted to address the bold statements made in the mainstream media.

But instead, dear Google led me to this article from 2019, you know 1BC?

Now is the time for the holiday and leisure industries to plough billions of pounds into updating their facilities in order to cope with the enormous potential increase in demand.

“Mr Giles predicts that Britain’s climate will be ‘among the best in the world’ by the middle of the century.”

“Best in the world”?? What a difference four years makes (that would be weather, not climate, ha ha!). Not Armageddon then?! I reckon Bill went to the same school of facts as Piers Morgan…

Bill today

The retired BBC weather presenter, 83, warned that attitudes towards global warming and greenhouse gas emissions must change to prevent a full-scale emergency in the coming years.

A large part of the problem was convincing people there is an issue because of this year’s washout summer and an autumn and winter likely to be dominated by winds.

I just finished reading Jess’s article on professionalism and integrity. Quite appropriate, don’t ya think?

Maybe, Bill should have opted for a quieter retirement? Who on earth still trusts these people?? I wouldn’t trust him with the weather forecast, let alone the climate!

He got it wrong in 1976 too, LOL.

There is also a piece in this weeks Radio Times with him boasting that he predicted a boiling earth over 30 years ago and now he has been proven to be correct.
