Look Up! The Grand Alignment of Planets Is Happening Right Now

A rare planetary alignment is going to take place in June, and you should not miss this opportunity.

If you look in the east before sunrise, you will be able to see five planets. Mercury, Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune, and Saturn will grace the dawn sky, creating a gentle arc around a 28-day-old waning crescent moon.

However, if you want to see the five planets simultaneously, you must plan ahead. Timing, dark skies, and a clear view of the horizon are critical. The next worthwhile 5-planetary alignment won’t happen again until 8 September 2040.

This is a rare and beautiful event, so if you have the chance to see it, be sure to take it!
