New ‘Lambda’ Variant May Be Resistant to Vaccines
Scientists are concerned that a newly labeled COVID-19 variant, first detected in Peru, may be resistant to COVID-19 vaccines due to “unusual” mutations.
Researchers from the University of Chile in Santiago said in a study published in a preprint last week that the variant has “a considerable potential to become a variant of concern.”
“Our data show for the first time that mutations present in the spike protein of the Lambda variant confer escape to neutralizing antibodies and increased infectivity,” wrote researchers in the paper that has yet to be peer-reviewed.
The Lambda variant, also known as C.37, is believed to have first emerged in Peru in August last year, but has only been recognized as a potential global threat in recent weeks, with the World Health Organization (WHO) declaring it a variant of interest on June 17 after it appeared in several countries simultaneously.
The WHO said the variant’s “neutralizing antibodies” could increase its transmissibility or potentially increase its resistance. It was “associated with substantive rates of community transmission in multiple countries,” it said.
In Peru, the Lambda strain now accounts for 82 percent of new infections. Meanwhile, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico, have all confirmed widespread cases of the variant.
WHO virologist Jairo Mendez-Rico told DW that although the strain may exhibit higher infection rates, there is no indication that it is more aggressive.
Mendez-Rico told the outlet that more data is needed to compare the newly labeled strain to other existing strains such as gamma (P.1) and delta (B.1.617.2), which have already been categorized by the WHO as variants of concern.
Jeff Barrett, director of the COVID-19 Genomics Initiative at the Wellcome Sanger Institute in the UK, told the Financial Times that it is challenging to “make sense of the threat from Lambda, using computational and lab data” because it has “rather an unusual set of mutations, compared with other variants.”
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, no cases of the Lambda strain have been recorded in the United States so far.
“Considering that this variant has rapidly spread in Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Argentina, we believe that Lambda has a considerable potential to become a variant of concern,” they wrote.
The WHO said that further studies are needed to “validate the continued effectiveness of vaccines” with the Lambda strain.

The original question has still not been answered. If the original virus has never been isolated, then how can you determine any “variant”? How can something be said to “vary” from an unknown, undefined initial condition? Clearly, it’s all a pack of lies.
Do they really think that by repeating the mantra, that we’ll all forget what we know?

The developers of the Oxford vaccine confirmed that they did not have a sample of the virus in the recent TV programme. They developed the vaccine from the genome sent to them by the Chinese Communist Party. Nothing suspicious about that!

Remember that no pathogen has ever been shown to be transmissible in way over a hundred years of diligent attempts by many researchers. As we age the biggest problem tends to be sarcopenia (muscle loss) as our biggest organ the muscles deteriorates. Eat a LOW carb diet high in saturated fats and protein. Do weigh bearing exercise 2 or 3 times per week at high intensity. Do not sit around a lot but stay on your feet most of the day. If the body is too sedentary, the brain gets the signal to eliminate muscle which is metabolically expensive for the body to maintain. Take vii. C AWAY away from carbohydrate during the day so it can be assimilated. Also take 5000 iu D3 per day.
Everyone should be able to get up from a sitting flat on the floor position to a standing position without using hands, elbows to get up. If you can do this, you are practically guaranteed 5 more years under Zionist occupation no matter what your age. If you cannot, get off your ass and get to work developing your core.

They use variants to explain sudden illnesses/adverse reactions/injuries in those jabbed. They say it’s more infectious but creates mild illness in unjabbed whereas for those jabbed they say it breaks through the jab….

How do they define a variant of COVID, when the original has NOT been properly isolated, analyzed, and found to be THE causative agent for a disease or the symptoms.
It’s computer generated imagery all the way down.
Prediction for the winter —
A bad flu season (or coronavirus type colds) will be unleashed, and for those injected with BIG PHARMA muck will suffer the most with many deaths. Governments and WHO will declare yet another COVID ‘pandemic’ and insist on more injections, masks, lockdowns, and control over everyone’s lives. A bigger push for medical passports will ensue.
The rich elites however WILL still travel, gather, conference/party together freely.
