WHO Rejects Ivermectin Without ANY Vote – Anyone Surprised?
WHO updated “Therapeutics and COVID-19” on March 31, 2021 to include a recommendation on ivermectin. The recommendation was: NEGATIVE.
WHO ruled:
“We recommend not to use ivermectin in patients with COVID-19 except in the context of a clinical trial.”
The recommendation was made by the Guideline Development Group; 63 members consisting of “content experts, clinicians, patients, ethicists and methodologists”.
WHO explained that a vote on the recommendation was not necessary:
“While a priori voting rules informed procedures if the panel failed to reach consensus, these procedures proved unnecessary for this recommendation.”
Two questions:
- Was there an “a priori” system in place for deciding when and how to abandon the “a priori” voting rules?
- How was consensus determined?
- Is it too late to take a vote?
WHO explained how they reached their “transparent and trustworthy recommendations”. They need to understand that bypassing a vote on the recommendation is the opposite of transparent and trustworthy.
Commenting on the above article, one reader, Andrew-PearceApril 2, 2021 lamented:
“Did you expect anything different? Any inexpensive, off-patent treatment, no matter how effective, must be beaten down and blackballed. Patient health and survival does not matter; massive profits for the research companies and the Big Pharm industry is the one and only goal. You’d have to be deaf, dumb, and blind not to accept this, after seeing it dozens of times over the past 16 months.”

the ignorance shown by those at the WHO is why we are all in a state of hysterical insanity. Time to close the WHO, the UN and everyone associated with it.

Malice rather than ignorance. Malice on the part of the userers who comprise the UN. They despise you and me, hence their Kalergi Plan for the dissolution of Western culture.

Exactly.
It’s not “ignorance”, by the way. They are doing EXACTLY what they have been ordered to do. The same applies to the UN’s ‘climate emergency’ IPCC …

Control.
It’s working.

I don’t think closing any of the suggested institutions would satisfy the justice for humanity. I think a careful look at their proceedings and sources of funding with special attention to “conflict of interest” shall be applied. And the penalties should reflect the outcome of their ill-devised recommendations; and the death sentence should not be precluded!
And now — preaching to others — the same shall be applied to all involved in all national affairs as well! All those Dr.Fausts should start running for their lives!!
Cheers, JaKo

With 60 people who, for reasons of Covid-19, are not gathered around a table in the same room, how do you know that a consensus exists between them without organizing a vote?
You don’t know. At best, you suppose.
Making such serious decisions based on guesswork is irresponsible.

Well that was the obvious answer, because no vaccine can be authorised if there is already a cure for a virus. Heaven forbid that any malicious billionaire and his cronies should be prevented from making even more money.

This is criminal on the part of WHO. Ivermectin is the only medication that is effective when administered during any of the three phases of C19 infection. Ivermectin has undergone 20 randomised clinical trials. The science demonstrates its safety and effectiveness.
