During a Tuesday press briefing CDC chief Robert Redfield issued another warning about virus transmission, saying many areas in the US are on the verge of exponential growth. Redfield also stated that most instances of transmission occur within households.

Mr. “A” gets Covid 19. He passes it on to his family of four others. But, someone OUTSIDE his family, Mr. “B”, who has a wife and two kids, had given it to him. That’s one non family infection, but a total of nine family infections.
Of course the number of family infections will always be greater than non family infections, it’s obvious!
But the CAUSE of all these infections is transmission between non family members.
Honestly, the stupidity of some of those in positions of “authority” never ceases to amaze me.

Correction, a total of seven family infections, from two non family infections. The point is still valid, (although I now question my own stupidity).

Hi Ken,
The only person I know who got the disease (Loss of smell and taste), got it from her sister at a family get together. Her father also got the disease but neither her husband or 2 small children have had any symptoms even though they have been living in the house with her. I do not know if there were any others at the party who got the disease but wonder if the virus spread by the sister was in some way modified for a specific genetic code.
