Just what is a legitimate field of science? The science of the “in-crowd” maybe, or those with a reputation, those who wish to call the shots? Certainly, reputation has been used to make claims where no evidence existed, which changed minds based purely on belief and state of deity in the mind.
Science is as fragmented as religion, and approaches cult following in some cases, as above.
Maybe it’s the peer review system which doesn’t even emulate a semblance of scientific endeavour, and again is just belief, or at best, trust in another using reason, who may be wrong. Science is meant to be a final result, not guesswork where bigger numbers create fact.
As far as needing to be polite, ridicule should be be shunned and frowned upon as it is not the scientific mind at work but that of a dismissive and judgemental, if not revengefull attitude. It has no place here.

What does the earth being flat have to do with the climate change scam? Unfortunately, this guy is trying to trick people into confounding the two. He constantly harps on the earth being a sphere and rotating yet there is no scientific evidence for this. He also claims to be upholding science when he is just as biased and cognitively dissonant as the climate change advocate he is supposed to be debunking. Two massive lies: a “spherical earth” and the “climate change” scam should never be confused with the Truth.
