1,000+ Cured! THIRD French Study Affirms HCQ is COVID19 ‘Game Changer’
The third clinical study for hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as treatment for COVID19 by world-renowned infectious diseases specialist, Professor Didier Raoult again proves to be astonishingly successful. The ‘Trump Cure‘ had a success rate of 93{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117} after only three days on the drugs.
Professor Raoult affirms that HCQ treatment in his clinical trials performed at IHU Méditerranée Infection, Marseille, France with a cohort of 1061 continues to provide an almost perfect rate of success.
Widely touted as the ‘Trump Cure’ in light of the US President’s strident claims the drug was a ‘gamechanger’ (March 21, 2020) a growing number of independent trials have been undertaken.
Despite huge criticism from the mainstream media for going against the advice of experts, it appears the empirical evidence once again comes down firmly on the side of Donald Trump.
For this third trial Raoult’s French patients were treated for at least 3 days with the HCQ-AZ combination and a follow-up of at least 9 days was investigated.

ABSTRACT
Background
In a recent survey, most physicians worldwide considered that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)
and azithromycin (AZ) are the two most effective drugs among available molecules against
COVID-19. Nevertheless, to date, one preliminary clinical trial only has demonstrated its
efficacy on the viral load. Additionally, a clinical study including 80 patients was published,
and in vitro efficiency of this association was demonstrated.
Methods
The study was performed at IHU Méditerranée Infection, Marseille, France. A cohort of 1061
COVID-19 patients, treated for at least 3 days with the HCQ-AZ combination and a follow-up
of at least 9 days was investigated. Endpoints were death, worsening and viral shedding
persistence.
Findings
From March 3rd to April 9th, 2020, 59,655 specimens from 38,617 patients were tested for
COVID-19 by PCR. Of the 3,165 positive patients placed in the care of our institute, 1061
previously unpublished patients met our inclusion criteria. Their mean age was 43.6 years old
and 492 were male (46.4{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117}). No cardiac toxicity was observed. A good clinical outcome and
virological cure was obtained in 973 patients within 10 days (91.7{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117}). Prolonged viral carriage
at completion of treatment was observed in 47 patients (4.4{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117}) and was associated to a higher
viral load at diagnosis (p < 10-2) but viral culture was negative at day 10 and all but one were
PCR-cleared at day 15. A poor outcome was observed for 46 patients (4.3{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117}); 10 were
transferred to intensive care units, 5 patients died (0.47{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117}) (74-95 years old) and 31 required
10 days of hospitalization or more. Among this group, 25 patients are now cured and 16 are
still hospitalized (98{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117} of patients cured so far). Poor clinical outcome was significantly
associated to older age (OR 1.11), initial higher severity (OR 10.05) and low
Interpretation
The HCQ-AZ combination, when started immediately after diagnosis, is a safe and efficient
treatment for COVID-19, with a mortality rate of 0.5{154653b9ea5f83bbbf00f55de12e21cba2da5b4b158a426ee0e27ae0c1b44117}, in elderly patients. It avoids
worsening and clears virus persistence and contagiosity in most cases.

This is a real problem:
On one hand we have this great news, a success story from southern France, while on the other hand we have the skeptics of the medical establishment. I sort of agree with both; we should really try the proposed (half-miracle) treatment; however, we can’t just rush into a convenient conclusion of efficacy of this treatment when no properly conducted study was done yet. I know, I know; it is hard to start a randomized, double-blind study with placebos and all, while dealing with a fatal disease. OTOH, if that is what would take to save millions of lives, wouldn’t that (just following the established procedures) be worth it?
As I said, I see the validity of reasoning of both sides (my dear spouse is an MD), but for myself, I would insist on this “experimental” treatment for my children, if needed…

Your thinking, similar to Fauci, is a bit obtuse. The bureaucrat mentality is why it takes years and years to bring promising drugs to market. Then the clueless socialists ask, “Why are drugs so expensive?”
Answer: “Because, obtuse bureaucrats have made the development and testing process unnecessarily lengthy.”
Basic observations on HCQ:
A) The medication works brilliantly.
B) The medication saves lives.
C) The medication has no great side-effects.
D) The medication is inexpensive.
It would be less expensive and far more effective to give everyone an inexpensive pill, than to perform expensive nationwide testing. Half the women in the world take inexpensive, safe pills every month…

Gov Cuomo is doing a secret study on HCQ right now.
It has a control group who get placebo pills and 2 test groups.
They don’t report the test groups and wait for the control group to die.
I like Trump’s plan better with “Right to Try” for every patient.
Cuomo should be charged with murder:. he was supposed to do the 6-day trial which should have wrapped up on 3/30/2020 but he likes making speeches each day and crying for supplies.

Several weeks back there was a clear comparison between a bureaucrat and practical person. For the practical person pointed out, that which isn’t considered by this posting or you. Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is not a new drug. It has been used for decades, if not centuries, for treating malaria. So we know from experience that the drug has no obvious negative side-effects upon the human body. But the bureaucrat argues; but we don’t know how it will react upon a person who has COVID19 .
In your comment you ignore that which is known about the drug. The experiment is not will it hurt the sick child, the experiment is: Will it help the sick child?

Good news, but what about vaccins? They get the same opostions and tests requirements? Remember in France, H5n1 health ministre Roseline Bachlot, Pharmacienne, ordered for everyone a shot. 2billion€ was the bill! The vaccins was put together in now time and should have been administered rigth away. Finally it was a flop, not because about safety reasens, no, it was because of the logistic problems. Impossible to organize on that large scale. Nobody seems to know it would have worked or not. Any way the flu came and went without doing anything and somme where a lot richer.

Please calm down, yes people have recovered with this treatment but 7 in a hundred are not and so more research is still required.
It looks like this virus not only attacks the lungs but causes red blood cell to carry less oxygen. Maybe that is where the other 7 per hundred need treatment.

What happened to the other 2000 or so? Isn’t it surprising that at mean age 43 and less than half were male, ony 92% were cured? This would seem to indicate that the treatment at best had no effect.

We already know you cannot rely on the French fo any accurate reporting of anything that has to deal with statistics. Just like presi-puppet chump they have been caught in so many lies the number cannot be accurately counted. The so-called miracle cure: “HCQ” is known to have serious side effects especially with people exposed to electromagnetic frequencies in the MM wavelength. There is already a link established between hypoxia and 5G RF/EMF frequencies and hydroxychloroquine may accelerate or enhance hypoxia. So think twice before you take any medicine or vaccine and get some reliable and honest advice. Don’t take the word of a lying politician or any phony science, you or your family members may be sorry you did.
